1 st proper ride out and i'm thoroughly impressed, I felt weary and slow en-route to Barton and thought "oh dear this will take some getting used to", but once we set off from the garage I warmed up nicely, especially as Brownies off slowed us all down a bit and i was struggling a bit as well.
It got easier as the night carried on and I soon got into the rhythm, the lumpy bits were really smooth, (GT dead and buried) and looking forward to Thetford.
As Jack said earlier we found a crackin route from Fermynn to Aldwincle and the falling off started, Feet stuck in the pedals, my favorite! only 4 offs because of them, and then Gary hooked his pedal on a hidden step and threw himself down roughly centurion!! I then lead up onto the viaduct bridge at Thrapston, near to where Glynn did his mad drop off and came a bit of a cropper in the failing light.
Overall i'm pleased with the new bike, the only thing which is annoying is the mad wasp noise from the vibrating on the front end due to riding fast on the road(won't happen that often luckily)
Thanks to all the comments from you lot and see ya all after my down hill escapades in the Alps. Good luck on Jack's 100k er
