for everyone

Morning Troy..........

Lloyd, Dave Palmer, Mike Cowland and then me............(see the pattern emerging). I was hoping for a few more riders to perhaps ride at the back with me, nothing doing

Saturday road ride, i was starting to enjoy this roadie thing, well up until today anyhoo.  The weather was going to dictate the time out riding!!(thank God)

So we rode a fairly quick ride(for me that is) via Earls Barton and Wollaston and back through Irchester and on to Raunds, the weather was miserable and so was I, I was having to push myself a fair bit today and with it being so wet and cold it made it that much worse.  Still as I said to Lloyd I can't get fitter by sitting at home (which is exactly where i wanted to be) and riding with better riders can only improve your fitness or show your lack of..... mine being the latter.

Its on the hills that i mostly came unstuck, whilst driving the pace on the front and not sure how long you can survive, or have the confidence to drop back(male ego time) it then hits you when the incline starts and the "fitties" just ride by asking if your OK, yeah, yeah fine!!

Next weeks ride......... I have got to keep going! It's hard work but it's got to be helping my fitness! also got to keep going as the xmas drinky//eating period is fast approaching and i want to keep on top of it this year.

Please can we have better weather, I don't mind the cold, but wind and rain doesn't help the cause much (sorry JP to mention the weather) I am 42 you know....that's old

Look forward to seeing more of you next week, by that time the alcohol should be out of your systems

My head hurts, Lloyd must be made of stronger stuff than me as he was putting it back like a good un, ok I know so its age!

Stick with it troy I'll make you feel fit on the hills again next week ;-)

Lloyd did look pale, it didn't slow him down any though, i don't blame them either, it was horrible

Girlie!!!!! Was working....in a nice warm, dry flour mill. Maybe it was the better option.

I didn't know you were struggling Troy, you hide it well! Now I feel guilty for sitting on your wheel so much!
